Aarons Pass

Aarons Pass located 224km North West of Sydney and off the main road and also in an area that has limited phone coverage! Makes getting there that much more special.

Guest appearance by RAS again which was the touring car for the Campbelltown trip a few months back. This time we are off the Mudgee for a girls weekend.

Aarons Pass is named after explorer Lawson's Aboriginal guide who helped him find the area which later became known as Mudgee.

Aarons Pass is another locality made up of a few farms. We came across a wool shed and I saw the ceramic cows heads hanging off the fence. We get out and these kittens, possible there to deal with mice eating the hay, start being all cute and affectionate to us.

Ms Television and P are fine with a minor detour off the main road to check out the exciting town that is Aarons Pass even though Ms Tv informs us that she is "busting" in the middle of nowhere.

We are on our way to meet the other girls so can't sit around playing with cats all afternoon. The cats are reluctant to let us go and decide to play about under P's car.

P drives off leaving me with the cats and I have to run up to car almost diving in through the window to escape the cats. Possibly way more dramatic than what actually happened.

They look forlornly at us as we speed off.

Aarons Pass... not an overly interesting place on it's own but it was an interesting trip there and I do like cats.
